Iran holds Quran competition in Lahore

Culture Center of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Pakistani culture capital, Lahore, has launched a Quran competition.

Culture Center of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Pakistani culture capital, Lahore, has launched a Quran competition concurrent with the holy month of Ramadan.

The competition was held Yesterday, June 18, hosting high level Quran reciters in the Pakistani Punjab Province.

The top participants, who have participated in international Quran competitions, received prizes at the end of the event.

The Culture Center of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Lahore had as well organized a similar competition for girls last week.

The Iranian institution supervised by the Iranian embassy in Pakistan has also held a Quran recitation competition for Lahore schools boys and girls, six to twelve years old, in cooperation with their schools.

Some 12 students from 64 participants were chosen and awarded for their recitations at the end of the competition.
